What is Allegro Days? Dates, discounts and rules for sellers
Much like Amazon with Prime Day, Allegro has its own flagship sales driver. It's called Allegro Days, and it comes round practically every month, drawing in millions of shoppers on the hunt for bargains. For sellers, it's both an opportunity and a trap: played well, it can make your whole quarter. Get the maths wrong, and it eats into your margin before you even realise.

What is Allegro Days?
Allegro Days is Allegro's regular monthly promotion, in which sellers offer discounts of at least a few per cent and, in return, their listings get a special badge and extra exposure on the platform, including on the homepage and in Strefa Okazji (Allegro's deals section). It's the best-known monthly sale on Allegro, alongside seasonal events such as Black Weeks.
You could compare it to Prime Day on Amazon, except that Allegro runs its equivalent regularly rather than once a year. The mechanism is simple: you cut the price, and Allegro directs traffic to where the discounts are instead of spreading visibility evenly across all listings. Shoppers see the orange "allegro days" label on a listing and know it's a verified deal, because the platform makes sure the discount is genuine and not based on an artificially inflated pre-sale price. To take part, you need an active Konto Firma (Allegro business account) and a decent sales history; you'll find the exact conditions in the section on submitting listings.
When does Allegro Days take place in 2026?
In 2026, Allegro Days comes round practically every month, usually starting on the first or second Monday of the month. Allegro publishes the exact dates of each edition around two weeks in advance in its News for Sellers, so you can't set them in stone for the whole year ahead – you need to check the seller panel regularly, either yourself or as part of Allegro account management.
The known dates for 2026 show a clear pattern: the promotion runs every month, with slight shifts depending on the month and the market (Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary). Foreign markets sometimes end the promotion a few days later than Poland. The table below shows sample editions that have already taken place or been announced in 2026, so you can get a feel for the rhythm of the promotion and plan your listings calendar around it. Before an edition kicks off, also check whether your product categories are included at all, as Allegro periodically excludes selected product groups from the promotion, such as high-value electronics.
Table 1. Sample Allegro Days editions in 2026
Month | Start | End | Markets |
|---|---|---|---|
January | 9.01.2026 | 19.01.2026 | PL, CZ, SK, HU |
March | 6.03.2026 | 16.03.2026 | PL |
July | 3.07.2026 | 13.07.2026 (PL) / 19.07.2026 (CZ, SK, HU) | PL, CZ, SK, HU |
August | 10.08.2026 | as announced by Allegro | PL |
September | 7.09.2026 | as announced by Allegro | PL |
October | 7.10.2026 | as announced by Allegro | PL |
Always confirm the exact dates in Allegro's News for Sellers – schedules are sometimes adjusted.
How long does Allegro Days last?
Allegro Days usually lasts between 7 and 10 days, depending on the month and the market. Until April, the promotion typically ran for 8 days, while from June to the end of the year 7 days became the standard on the Polish market. Foreign markets (the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary) sometimes end the promotion a few days later than Poland, as in July 2026, when the Polish edition ran until 13 July and the CZ/SK/HU one until 19 July.
A longer run means more chances to sell, but also a longer period in which your margin is reduced. Bear this in mind when planning stock for the duration of the promotion, so you don't run out halfway through – a sudden stock-out in the middle of Allegro Days can undo the whole effect of the campaign. Shorter editions, on the other hand, tend to be more intense, because shopper traffic is squeezed into fewer days, so factor that into your order handling and shipping plans.
How does Allegro Days differ from AlleObniżka and Strefa Okazji?
Allegro Days, AlleObniżka and Strefa Okazji are three different mechanisms that are easy to mix up, and they differ in one key respect: who pays for the discount. With Allegro Days, the seller cuts the price out of their own margin and pays an additional commission on sales. With AlleObniżka, Allegro funds the discount itself and the seller's profit stays the same, although participation is limited to selected products from Allegro's Product List. Strefa Okazji works in a similar way to Allegro Days, but without the monthly rhythm, more often around seasonal occasions and without such broad exposure on the homepage.
For sellers, AlleObniżka is always the safest option, because it doesn't touch your margin. Allegro Days makes sense when you want to boost visibility and stock turnover and have enough margin headroom to absorb the cost without ending up merely breaking even. Choosing the wrong option is often a missed opportunity: a seller enters a product into Allegro Days when they could have got a free discount through AlleObniżka or, conversely, skips the Allegro-funded promotion because they wrongly see it as just another cost.
Table 2. Allegro Days vs AlleObniżka vs Strefa Okazji
Mechanism | Who funds the discount | Additional commission | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|
Allegro Days | Seller | Yes (partly refunded) | Monthly, broad |
AlleObniżka | Allegro | No | Limited to the Product List |
Strefa Okazji | Seller | Yes | Seasonal, irregular |
How do you submit listings for Allegro Days? (for sellers)
You submit listings for Allegro Days yourself, from the seller panel, with no outside help. The whole process takes a few minutes, provided your listings meet the promotion's conditions.
- Log in to the seller panel and go to Advertising and promotion, then Campaigns and programmes.
- Find the active Allegro Days edition for the month in question and open the listing submission form.
- Check which of your listings qualify for the promotion: the system shows them automatically based on price, stock levels and category.
- Set a promotional price that meets the minimum discount threshold required for that edition (Allegro shows the exact percentage next to each listing).
- If you also sell abroad, use the "submit these listings to other markets" option so you don't have to do it separately for the Czech Republic, Slovakia or Hungary.
- Confirm your submission before the deadline set by Allegro, usually a few days before the promotion starts.
How much does it cost sellers to take part in Allegro Days?
Taking part in Allegro Days costs you an additional commission on sales, charged on top of Allegro's standard commission for the category. According to Allegro, in many editions the additional commission is around 60% of the standard rate, but it comes back to the seller in two forms: 40% as a transaction discount, i.e. real funds in your Allegro account, and 60% as Wyróżnienie packages (Allegro's paid listing highlights), which you can use to promote your listings further.
In practice, this means the commission doesn't simply vanish – you get it back, only as a marketing tool rather than as cash. That still doesn't let you off working out your margin before you submit. From our experience managing Allegro accounts, we see that for sellers whose products sit close to break-even, the price cut plus the additional commission can wipe out the entire profit on a transaction, despite the refund in Wyróżnienie packages, because these can't be exchanged back into cash or used to pay the courier.
How can shoppers benefit from Allegro Days?
Shoppers benefit from Allegro Days above all through the lowest-price guarantee: Allegro compares prices over the last 30 days and makes sure the discount is genuine rather than calculated from an artificially inflated starting price before the sale. If you find the same product cheaper within 72 hours of buying it, Allegro refunds 150% of the difference as a voucher for your next purchase.
Another plus is Allegro Smart! (Allegro's delivery subscription), which during Allegro Days often comes with free delivery and extra deals marked specifically for subscribers. It's also worth knowing that promotional listings carry a special label – an orange background, the words "allegro days" or the size of the discount – so telling a genuine deal from a regular price takes no detective work. Just have a look around the homepage or Strefa Okazji while the promotion is running. For shoppers, then, it's a real saving backed by a control mechanism, not just the marketing slogan of a seasonal sale.
Is it worth taking part in Allegro Days as a seller?
Allegro Days is worth using if your product's margin headroom is bigger than the discount and the additional commission combined, or if your priority is shifting slow-moving stock rather than profit on an individual transaction. At Raise Your Sales, we keep telling our clients one thing: sales volume without profitability just means selling yourself problems – only on a bigger scale and with an extra commission on the fee schedule.
If a product already sells well at its regular price, Allegro Days may not make sense, because you're cutting your margin with no real need for extra visibility. If, however, you're fighting for a spot in the search results or want to clear seasonal stock before the season ends, the promotion can do more than a month of paid Allegro Ads campaigns, because the traffic comes from the platform itself rather than from your ad budget. Even so, calculating your margin before you submit is always the first step, not the last. It's the same principle we apply to every promotional campaign on marketplaces, whatever the platform.
Summary
Allegro Days isn't a test of whether you can cut your price. The test is whether you know how far you can cut it before the transaction stops paying off. The real difficulty of this promotion doesn't lie in the submission mechanics, which take a few minutes in the seller panel. It lies in the fact that the promotion comes round every month, not once a year, so you can't treat it as a one-off decision. It has to be a fixed point in your sales calendar, with the margin worked out for every product category, not a knee-jerk "yes" to every notification from Allegro.
The biggest risk isn't the price cut itself, but the fact that sellers treat all three mechanisms (Allegro Days, AlleObniżka and Strefa Okazji) as a single, interchangeable promotion. In reality, they're different tools for different situations: one costs you margin, the other costs nothing beyond the limited product selection. If you can't tell them apart, you pay more than you have to.
Not sure which products in your range have enough margin for Allegro Days, and which are better submitted to AlleObniżka or left alone? Book a free consultation with us. We'll review your Allegro account, calculate the real profitability of taking part and show you where a discount genuinely pays off and where it only looks good on paper.
