Morele Marketplace: how to start selling and what it costs

The Morele marketplace is an open sales platform built around morele.net, one of Poland’s largest electronics and household appliance shops. Here, you pay nothing but a commission of 2.1 to 15 per cent on your sales, with no subscription and no listing fees, and you can accept your first order within around 12 hours of applying. Below, we break it all down: what it really costs, how to get started step by step and who the platform actually pays off for.

What is Morele Marketplace and how does it work?

Morele Marketplace is a model in which morele.net makes room for third-party sellers alongside its own range. You list the products (either yourself or by outsourcing sales management on specialist marketplaces), the platform brings in traffic and customers, and you settle up through commission on sales. Think of it as a large electronics and household appliance shop that has put up empty shelving next to its own shelves and rents it out to other brands.

Scale does the heavy lifting here. Morele has been building its position for over 25 years, offers a range of nearly a million products and claims a reach of around 5 million customers a month, while orders can be collected from almost 15,000 points across Poland. The platform has a clear profile: electronics, computer hardware, gaming and household appliances. In February 2025, it added a B2B version (Morele Business) with consolidated invoicing and deferred payments for businesses. This isn’t yet another catch-all bazaar, but a platform with a distinct shopping identity.

How much does it cost to sell on Morele Marketplace?

On Morele Marketplace, you only pay commission on what you sell. There is no seller subscription and no fee for listing products or for integration. Commission ranges from 2.1 to 15 per cent depending on the product category, and it is calculated on the gross order value, excluding shipping. If a customer returns the goods or cancels the order, you don’t pay any commission.

In practice, this leads to one simple conclusion: the cost of entry is low, and the bill only arrives once you are actually selling. That is convenient for sellers, because the risk at the start is minimal. But keep an eye on your margin, because the difference between a 2.1 and a 15 per cent commission can decide whether a given category adds up for you at all. So before you set your prices, check the current rate for your category in the terms and conditions and work out your result after deducting commission, shipping and returns.

The ranges in the commission column are indicative and are meant to show how the rate rises from core electronics to small accessories. You will find the exact figures for each category in Morele’s current terms and conditions.

Are there any listing fees or subscription charges?

No. Neither one nor the other. Listing is free, and sellers are not tied to any fixed subscription. The only real cost on your side is commission on completed sales. That sets Morele apart from models where you pay upfront, before you have sold anything at all.

How do you start selling on Morele Marketplace, step by step?

Getting started on Morele Marketplace is quick: registration comes down to a few steps, and you can start selling around 12 hours after applying. Throughout the process, you are guided by a dedicated point of contact (a key account manager), who helps you tailor your listings to the platform’s requirements. The time it takes just to read the terms and conditions on some platforms is enough here to get your sales up and running.

Here is what the whole process looks like:

  1. Application. You provide your email address and tax ID (NIP), and the platform automatically pulls the rest of your company details from the Statistics Poland (GUS) database. You add a description of your product range and accept the terms and conditions.
  2. Contact from your account manager. The Morele team verifies your application and gets back to you within a few hours. You are then assigned an integration specialist to work out the details with you.
  3. Completing your details. You provide logistics details (delivery, warehouse), financial details (settlement account) and after-sales details (returns, complaints).
  4. Listing verification. Morele checks that your prices and stock levels are up to date before the products go on sale.
  5. Activation. You receive an email saying your sales are live, and you can start accepting your first orders.

What sells best on Morele Marketplace?

What sells best is what Morele is known for: electronics, computer hardware, gaming accessories and household appliances. It is a platform with a specific customer profile: people come here for a laptop, a graphics card, gaming gear or a washing machine, not for a random assortment. If you sell in these categories, you reach traffic that is already in buying mode.

Morele Marketplace vs Allegro – how do they differ?

In short: Allegro is a mass marketplace for practically every category, with huge competition between sellers, while Morele is a narrower electronics and technology platform with less crowding in its niche. On Allegro, you fight for visibility against tens of thousands of listings. On Morele, you enter an environment with a clear profile, where customers are focused on electronics and household appliances from the outset.

Allegro

Reach and buyer profile

This isn’t an ‘either/or’ choice. For many electronics sellers, Morele is a sensible addition to Allegro, not a replacement for it.

Who is Morele Marketplace worth it for, and who should skip it?

Morele Marketplace pays off above all for sellers of electronics, household appliances and electronics-related categories who are looking for a second, stable channel alongside Allegro or their own shop. If you have a competitive price, good availability and a product that fits the platform’s profile, you tap into ready-made customer traffic that is already in buying mode. It is a classic diversification move: you build a second pillar of sales that depends less on a single algorithm.

But let’s be straight about it, because that’s how we work at Raise Your Sales: Morele isn’t for everyone. If your category falls completely outside the platform’s profile, or your margin can’t withstand the price pressure typical of electronics, going in will be a waste of time and money. A channel on its own is not a strategy. Before you enter any platform, calculate the sales potential for your category and check whether anything is actually left after deducting commission, advertising and returns. Profitability matters more than simply being present on yet another platform.

How do you integrate your listings with Morele Marketplace?

You can integrate your listings with Morele Marketplace in two ways, depending on scale. With a small range, setting things up directly in the platform’s panel is enough: you complete your shop and delivery details and add products manually. With a larger catalogue or multichannel sales, it is more convenient to connect an integrator such as Baselinker, Apilo, IdoSell or Shoper, which automatically synchronises stock levels and prices.

The point of an integrator is simple: the more products and the more platforms you run at once, the greater the risk of prices and stock levels drifting out of sync, and every such mismatch means either losing the Buy Box or selling goods you don’t have. Automatic synchronisation takes manual corrections off your hands and reduces errors. While you are still getting to know the platform, you don’t need to choose a specific tool yet. It is just worth knowing that this option exists and scales with you.

Is it worth selling on Morele Marketplace?

Morele Marketplace is one of those smaller, specialist channels that are easy to overlook if you only look at Allegro and Amazon. And it is precisely this specialisation that gives it its strength. A low barrier to entry, a commission-only model and customers who are set on electronics from the outset mean that, for the right category, it is not an experiment but a genuine second pillar of sales. The whole trick is to come in with a product that fits the profile and a price that stands up to comparison. Then Morele stops being a curiosity on a list of platforms and becomes a concrete source of revenue.

If you are wondering whether Morele Marketplace makes sense for your particular category and margins, don’t guess. At Raise Your Sales, we assess the potential of a specific platform for a specific business before you spend a single zloty, and we tell you straight where we see profit and where we see a waste of time. Book a free consultation and we will show you which channels will genuinely diversify your sales and speed up your return on investment.
